Stephen King’s novel was published in 2011 and topped the The New York Times Best Seller list for more than 16 weeks. It tells the story of Jacob Epping, an English teacher who time-travels to 1963 to prevent the JFK assassination which occurred on October 11, 1963. Bad Robot Productions, J.J. Abrahms production company, acquired the rights to adapt the novel as a TV series the same year, before the release of the book. A few days ago, J.J. Abrams and Hulu have announced that the TV series was picked up. No premiere date is available yet.
